Cheerleading Age Divisions

Freshman 7U
AGES 5*-7
A fun and exciting introduction to sideline cheerleading. Young cheerleaders will start learning the basics of cheer skills from simple motions, cheers and chants, to an introduction into dance and tumbling. This makes it perfect for the littles who are just starting to explore what cheerleading has to offer them.

Sophomore 9U
AGES 8-9
A developmental cheerleading division based on fundamentals, sportsmanship, and team development. Cheerleaders in this group will build upon their knowledge of motions, cheers& chants, while adding in more technical and rigorous dancing, tumbling and beginning stunts.

Juniors 11U
AGES 10-11
This age group will implement all aspects of sideline cheer. They will learn specific game day routines, implement their cheer knowledge by leading group based skills such as cheers and chants. this division will focus on building confidence in stunting, tumbling, and crowd work.

Seniors 14U
AGES 12-14
The Presidents division is where athletes take everything they’ve learned and bring it to the next level. These cheerleaders focus on more advanced stunts, tumbling, and game-day performances while leading the crowd with confidence and energy. They also step into leadership roles, helping guide younger teams and setting the standard for teamwork and sportsmanship.
Birthdate is 8/31 for ALL CHEER DIVISIONS. Cannot be 15 or 9th grader.
*Must be 6 by 8/31.

Game Day Help: Be the extra hands that make game day run smoothly—from setting up to cheering on the sidelines.
